MUN has recently made public a plan to radically change the residence landscape in St. John's. They intend to drastically reduce the number of available places for returning students to increase the number of first-years in residents. However, MUN has failed to consider the consequences this will have on both the senior population and the dynamics of residence itself. SOAR, the Society of Active Residents, is committed to peacefully and aggressively protesting this uninformed decision.
